Karachi, May 17, 2011: Tetra Pak, the world leader in food processing and packaging solutions, has launched the Tetra Evero Aseptic 1 litre, the first aseptic carton bottle for milk. Employing market driven insight and breakthrough engineering techniques, Tetra Evero Aseptic for white milk combines the easy handling and pouring of a bottle with the environmental and cost advantages of a carton.

Tetra Evero Aseptic is initially aimed at the ambient white milk market, including non-oxygen sensitive milk enriched with calcium, proteins, fibres (inulin), vitamins A and D and some minerals. This will soon expand to cover a wide range of beverages, including flavoured milk, cream and oxygen sensitive milk, such as Omega 3, Iron, Zink, and Vitamin C.
Tetra Evero Aseptic brings convenience and added confidence to consumers with the world's first one step opening with a two step safety feature. An ergonomic cylindrical shape with flat side panels means it's easier for big and small hands to hold. According to independent consumer research conducted in International markets, the shape also provides the ideal angle for better pouring than other bottles. And of course, Tetra Pak Evero Aseptic is the carton bottle that keeps milk for up to six months.
The Tetra Evero Aseptic combines the easy handling and pouring of a bottle with the environmental advantages of a carton. It is made from FSC™-certified renewable paperboard. In addition, an independent research from Institute for Energy and Environmental Research (IEFU) in Germany shows that the CO2 footprint is up to 30 per cent lower than other bottles.
A range of design and engineering challenges have demanded groundbreaking technological solutions and completely new processes, which have come together to create this truly innovative packaging shape.
