Karachi, August 24, 2010 – LG Electronics Business Solutions (LG), a perfect solutions partner for businesses and individuals, recently announced the launch of its new security cameras, the L332, L6323 and L5323, which boast the world’s largest Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) along with a 650TV Lines resolution and a range of user-friendly functions.
“LG’s new 650TV Lines camera series is a core product for LG BS in 2010,” said Mr. Jin Yong Kim, Senior Vice President of Solution Business Unit of LG Business Solutions Company. “Thanks to the development of proprietary LG technology – namely, our XDI-II ISP – it was possible for us to create a range of security cameras that are truly world class.”
Comprising one box camera, the L332, and two dome cameras, the L6323 and L5323, LG’s new security cameras deliver a WDR of 68dB and exceptionally vivid resolution thanks to LG’s new XDI-II image signal processor platform and a 520,000-pixel CCD.
Bolstering the XDI-II function, ACE (Adaptive Contrast Enhancement) overcomes the shortcomings of existing WDR BLC (Back-Light Compensation) systems to transmit clear pictures of even the darkest of warehouses and other night-time scenes. In addition, a strengthened 3D-DNR function in the new cameras makes images clearer and less blurry, even in low levels of light.
LG’s new security camera series has a range of functions to fit the ever-growing needs of customers and businesses. Through its advanced intelligent anti-tempering function, the camera automatically sets off an alarm in the control room when the camera’s direction is changed by a sudden impact or is blocked by, for instance, spray paint.
By attaching a sensor to its basic ICR Day & Night mechanism, the L332 can check the filter’s location to gain higher durability. Better still, a range of color modes – natural, cool, warm and vivid – allows users to see the images in a color scheme they feel most comfortable with. And 12 privacy zone setting functions, categorized by rectangle, circle and polygon, bolster privacy setting while also making the cameras easy to use.
